WELDING

With today’s rims getting bigger and bigger and tire profiles getting thinner, it’s very easy to crack a rim. Cracks can be caused by hitting a pothole or a curb, but they can also be caused by metal fatigue or low tire pressure. Many of these cracks may not look like much, but they weaken the wheel’s structure and can cause a wheel to leak air. These air leaks can cause you to repeatedly fill up your tire, a flat tire, or worse yet, a blow out on the highway.

Rim ReNew technicians are highly trained at welding aluminum wheels in order to restore the wheel’s structural integrity and air-tight attributes. All welded wheels are checked for an airtight weld before being remounted on our customer’s cars.
